Borussia Dortmund Defeat PSG in Champions League Semifinal

PSG's hopes of reaching the Champions League final were dashed on Wednesday night as they were defeated 2-1 by Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their semi-final clash

Erling Haaland scored the only goal of the first half, giving Dortmund a 1-0 lead. PSG came out strong in the second half and equalized through Neymar in the 75th minute. However, Dortmund regained the lead just five minutes later through Raphael Guerreiro, and they held on to win the match 2-1 on aggregate.

The result means that Dortmund will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on August 23rd. It will be the first time that two German teams have met in the final of the competition since 2013, when Bayern defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.
